Dollar Tree Obsessed

These past 2 weeks i've been visiting the Dollar Tree often. I used to never shop there but thought "hey can't hurt to take a look".
My hubby and I have found some AWESOME stuff!! We found Rockstar energy drinks (His Favorite) They are normally $2 each.. We also found chocolate cherrios and Kix cereal FULL SIZE boxes!
Plus for a super cheap and easy meal we've been getting noodles and sauce = $2 and frozen garlic bread = $1  so as a total a $3 meal with plenty of leftovers for lunches. Overall i've been extremely impressed and i've learned not to knock it till i've tried it!

Easy Homemade Donuts!

What you need:
Pillsbury Canned Biscuits (As many as you want)
Sugar
Cinnamon
Vegetable oil

1. Get Pillsbury Grands Biscuits, Or any other canned biscuits.
2. Poke hole in middle and stretch out to look like donut (See Photo)
3. Heat Deep Fryer (375 F), or heat vegetable oil in pan on stove.
4. Put donut dough in and let cook about 2 minutes then flip and continue to let cook 2 more minutes (Cooking time may vary, See photo for proper color when cooked)
5. Immediately dip into cinnamon-sugar mix then set aside and continue with the rest of the donuts.
6. ENJOY!

Cheesecake Filled Strawberries W/ PB swirl

Found this on pinterest changed it a little to make it easier :)

1. Use a knife to hallow out the center of the strawberry.

2. Prepare Cheesecake mix. I used the easy "jell-o Brand no-bake cheesecake mix" or you can make your own cheesecake mix:
           1 8oz pack Cream cheese, 3/4 Tbsp powdered sugar, 1tsp Vanilla.
3. Put cheesecake filling into a bag and cut the corner of the bag.
4. Fill strawberries to top
5. Melt Reeses peanut butter chips, drizzle on top of cheesecake filled strawberries.
6. Let set in fridge
7. Enjoy!!

Reeses, Cookie Cupcakes!!

Okay I found this on Pinterest and decided to switch the recipe a little because the brownie on top was too much chocolate for my Hubby. So Instead I put them into cupcake tins.
1. I got frozen store bought chocolate chip cookie dough (im lazy), Squished that too the bottom of the tins
2. Placed a reeses peanut butter cup on top
3. Then filled the rest of the way with store bought cake mix.

Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. And they turned out great!! I even got creative and added reeses pieces to the top of the cupcakes

Review of Elmo Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker By Kolcraft

Okay here's my review on the Elmo Tiny Steps 2-in-1 Walker
SET-UP
At first I see the words on the box we all dread! "some assembly required", and i'm thinking great better wait till hubby gets home (I lack the ability to put together things haha). But I gave it a shot and I put it together in under 10 minutes and didn't even need the instructions! I love that it folds down extremely small so its easy to transport plus its very lightweight.

Another feature I loved as you can see in the above photos your little one can walk behind the walker or sit in it! My son loved the toys on it and I loved that the toys come off of the tray for when you want to give your child food without getting it all over the toys! I also like that its all plastic and there's no spots that could harm your baby.

This walker is a hit with my son and for the price its a steal! For anyone looking to get a walker i'd definitely recommend this one, it grows with your child and the bright colors, rotating toys, mirror and music keep them entertained!

Mothers Day!

My first mothers day as an actual mother. . Got to sleep in while Jesse played with cash then when I woke up he gave me beautiful flowers, a card, and a bag of candy :) We went to the store and got sandwiches then went to the park and had a picnic. Then we visited his grandparents and gave his grandma a card as well as some K-cup samples I received in the mail earlier this week. After we got home my mothers day was finished greatly! I won a mothers day giveaway for a pair of diamond earrings and we ordered pizza! This was my first mothers day and an incredible one. I'm so grateful to have my Son and Fiance in my life.

Teething Monster!

Cash is now getting his two front teeth on top, they can be seen through the gums but are not broken through yet. Anyways its made him one cranky baby, throwing toys at daddy crumbling his cookies and spreading them on the carpet. We went to get him Orajel so he could sleep better and they were B1G1 Free and we had a $4 off coupon so we paid $3 for two tubes of orajel! SWEET :) and now after a super LONG day my little man is asleep.

Lazy Days

My day today. Woke up fed Cash, played with him, put him down for a nap. Then smoothie time with my hubby yum! :) Then Cash wakes up and wants to play again he chases us around and carries toys in his mouth like a puppy. Today was an extremely lazy day! Did nothing productive.
